A new stardoor fence project at Stellarton, north of Brisbane, is under way, with construction expected to begin in 2019.
A new storaged barn is also being erected at the Stellarpark site, which was originally developed as a manufacturing site.
The project was approved in December 2015 and is expected to be completed by the end of 2020.
The Stellartons original plans called for the building of two storages, a barn and a processing centre.
Construction is expected for a two-storey structure, but the original plan envisaged the barn, processing facility and a large shed.
The new plan has a new structure built over the barn and the shed, with the sheds becoming the processing facility.
The structure is the biggest building to be built at the site.
Stardock says it has received more than 250 applications for the site, and has received several submissions from the public.
The proposed new stargazing facility is expected in the first half of 2021, with Stellard’s facilities expected to open by the second half of the year.
